Bedside Book Review- January

My head has been in the books again. I look forward to curling up on the couch, or in bed and reading. It helps now that I have a booklight to use. I even look forward to that 10 minutes in the carpool lane, and 30 minutes waiting at speech therapy so I can get lost in a book. (somedays it is TikTok). I am linking up with Steph for our monthly book reviews.

What I Read:

Julia is fun, sassy, witty, and sworn off me to focus on her career as an event planner. Her newest client, gallery owner Alex becomes a distraction. A fun romance read that I couldn't put down.

Cara is a hard working mom, with three jobs trying to make ends meet. Victor is a man who has everything except a woman in his life. Their worlds collide like a Hallmark movie. I love books (and movies) were the couple are from two different sides of the tracks.

One wild night in Vegas turned into a friends with benefits relationship that ends with a baby. Does Gilly and Erza have a chance at more? A romance comedy.

I had seen this book recommended by a few different ladies on Instagram. I was able to borrow it from my library ebook app (Libby). This book did not disappoint. I read it in 4 days is how good it was.

Another book that was recommended on Instagram. This is not a romance novel. It is a self help book dealing with depression and changing lives without medicine. It is a very researched book that can be a bit overwhelming. Very informative.

Autumn Calabrese is a super trainer with Beachbody. I have completed a couple of her programs. I am not looking to lose weight like crazy, but love learning more about her and her background. (she is from Ohio, not far from me) The book also goes over the nutrition portion fix program that I am currently doing. (and see results from)

I joined a women's devotional group this year. Last month we read Choose Joy. It is a very relatable 30 day devotional. We are actually rereading it again this month and doing a bible study too.
