Monthly Wellness- February

 Hey loves. February is coming to an end. I have to say overall it was a good month. Not perfect but life is never perfect. It is time for the new monthly link up talking about Wellness. This is keeping my accountable, sharing my progress and my struggles along the way, and I hope you will link up too. 


Nutrition:

I have been slacking on my portion control containers. If you are not familiar with the program, Ultimate Portion Fix you get so many of each color coded container a day. Such as based on my activity, weight, and nursing I get 3 fruit containers a day. Most days recently I have only been eating 2 containers. This attributes to how many calories you eat a day. If I had to guess I am not eating enough calories to maintain my milk supply and lose weight, which is why I am struggling. It is true you can't out train a bad diet. 

Water:

I have been doing good with drinking 80 oz of water a day. I want to up this to 100 oz of water a day. New goal for March.

Movement/Fitness:


I am still completing and loving 9 week control freak. I am on week 7, even though I should be on week 8. Last week was rough. I fell off track, I wasn't feeling well, Audrianna wasn't sleeping. Life happens and I gave myself grace. I had only completed 2 of the days last week but didn't feel like I gave it my all either. This week I restarted last weeks programs and I am pushing myself. I am noticing little muscles starting to pop up in my arms. 

As I am writing this (Tuesday afternoon) today is suppose to be a high of 50. I am so excited for warmer weather. I want/need to get outside. My goal for the nice days is to get outside and take a walk for 15-20 minutes. I am hoping the snow melts off the sidewalks to make this possible with the kids. 

Mind:

I am rereading the Choose Joy devotional. I started a bible study with Philippians. I am reading two different mom/women devotionals as well.

I am reading to find our my enneagram to help learn more about my personality. I am also reading a positive motivational book.

Mind isn't just reading. My mindset mornings give me energy and peace. I am working towards once a week taking at least an hour a week for me, besides my mornings. Weather it be take a bath, getting out of the house without kids and not going to pick up kids, etc.
