Bedside Book Review- July

Hey loves. It's Book Review Day!!!!! This month was a light reading month. I have two books that I am reading that carried over into this month. Lets see what I read:

What I Read:

A brilliant professor. An innocent student. A powerful love that could save or destroy them both.

They promised each other a sweet, hot forever. But a promise isn't enough.

After escaping the demons of her past, college student Olivia Winter finds shelter in the arms of handsome, captivating professor Dean West. Though Dean is struggling with his own family battles, he wants nothing more than to claim the shy, sweet Liv as his own.

As he draws her into lessons about desire, trust, and love, the spark between them ignites into a firestorm. And their desperate need for each other grows into an unbreakable bond.

Then one simple question provokes an alarming chain of events that threatens to rip them apart forever.

Liv and Dean would never lie to each other...until they do.

They would never betray a trust...until they do.

They would never be apart...until they are.

I enjoyed this book. I love how Nina shows the true light of marriage, it isn't perfect and it isn't always a Hallmark movie. I give it a 4 out of 5 stars.

When Joy McGuire arrives in the sleepy Missouri town of Heron’s Landing, she thinks she’s left her past behind in Chicago. As a journalist, Joy just wants to write—and to forget. When she meets local vineyard owner Adam Danvers, though, she discovers not only her next story, but a man who makes her heart pound faster. One problem? Adam hates journalists. But when he kisses her, she forgets that she’s supposed to hate him. Instead, she soon realizes she’s given him her heart.

Can transform into the sweetest of loves…

After losing his wife in a tragic accident three years ago, Adam Danvers has focused solely on his family’s vineyard, River’s Bend. But when Joy bursts into his life, he can’t stop wanting her; everything about her makes his blood sing. Their battle of wills soon turns into a storm of desire, but just as things heat up, trouble shows up to wreak chaos in Heron’s Landing. Now Adam must confront his demons—or lose the woman he loves.

I really enjoyed this book. Seduce me Sweetly took you along Joy's adventure in a new place. I was surprised towards the end of the book with a plot twist I didn't see coming. I won't give it away. I give it 5 out of 5 stars.

The heat is on...Raised among women who taught him to cook at his family's Buenos Aires restaurant, master chef Paolo Santos deftly works his culinary wiles--and his Latin charm--on post Flamingo Island's female clientele. The most tempting on the island, though, is cool, elegant spa chef Michaela Willoughby. The redhead's slender curves are as enticing as her rabbit-food menus are maddening. And she's his main competition for the chance of a lifetime - top chef in a new TV cooking show. When the stage lights ignite, so does the sexual chemistry no one--least of all Paolo and Michaela--saw coming. Suddenly, separating business from pleasure is as impossible as separating a scrambled egg. And the big question isn't whose knife cuts fastest...it's whose heart can take the most heat.
