Yellow Squash Tots


  • 3 small yellow squashes
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 3/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Ground black pepper, to taste


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. 
  2. Spray a baking sheet lightly with EVOO
  3. Shred squash in a food processor.
  4. Squeeze out all of the liquid from squash using a cheese cloth. Discard liquid.
  5. In a large bowl combine squash with rest of ingredients. Mix until sticky and wet. 
  6. Place about 2 Tbsp of mixture in your hand and make tots. Place on baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. 
  8. Allow to rest for 5 minutes on baking sheet.
  9. Serve
  10. Enjoy!!!!
