Blueberry Scone
Ingredients:
- 2 cups flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup butter, cold
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 cup blueberries
icing
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- lemon zest
Directions:
- In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, and baking powder.
- Mix in butter until resembles crumbs. Use either a pastry blender or mixer.
- Add milk and lemon juice.
- Fold in chocolate blurberries.
- Place the dough on parchment paper. Pat into an large circle. Slice dough into 8 triangles.
- Arrange on baking sheet 2 inches apart.
- Bake 15-18 minutes until tops and edges are golden brown.
- Let cool.
- Mix powdered sugar, lemon juice and lemon zest together. Drizzle over scone.
- Serve
