Hey loves. Happy Wednesday. How is your week going? We are over here enjoying weather in the 50s. The kids have been coming home from school, quickly doing homework, and going outside to play with the neighborhood kids. I just found a new to me fun blog hop every Wednesday that Joyce over at From This Side of the Pond Wednesday Hodpodge.
1. It's March 15th and as the saying goes-"Beware the Ides of March". Have you read or studied much Shakespeare? Do you have a favorite Shakespeare play? How do you feel about a Caesar salad?
I have no studied much Shakespeare. I did read Macbeth when I was younger and loved it. I have to be in the mood for a Caesar salad.
2. Have you ever been to Rome? If so what do you love about the city? If not, any desire to go?
No I have never been to Rome. I use to want to travel the world. After having kids and everything that has happened in the world lately I am content staying closer to home. I would still do a cruise, go to Mexico or Canada.
3. What's your favorite place to 'roam'?
I am very fortunate to live close to the Cleveland metro parks that has a lot of walking travels. When it is nicer out we do go for walks, if it is just just Ella and me we will go off the the main trails. We also drive through there a lot just to relax and especially in the fall to see the leaves changing colors. I don't get to roam enough.
4. Do you like pizza? Thick or thin crust? Red sauce-white sauce-other? Your favorite toppings? How do you feel about pineapple on a pizza?
I do like pizza. If I am the only one eating the pizza I prefer thin crust. It depends on where we order from what kind of sauce but normally red sauce. My favorite right now is from Master's Pizza and it is a buffalo chicken pizza with a ranch swirl on top. I love pineapple on pizza.
5. 'Rome wasn't built in a day'...tell us how this expression applies to something in your home-life-job currently (or recently)?
I love this expression. In my life right now I am on a health and wellness journey. I didn't gain 30 pounds in one month, it takes time to get back in shape, lose fat, gain muscle, gain energy, etc.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
Next week I am starting a 4 week program to help determine my food sensitives, support healthy gut, consume more alkaline foods and rebalance my microbiome. Do you want to do it with me? Lets chat about gut health
I fixed all my gut issues by going keto and doing intermittent fasting. I'm still eating only once a day but I only eat keto twice a week. I do ok but think I may go back to keto 3-4 times a week.
ReplyDeleteThat is not healthy by any means. Do your research. Keto is not meant to do long term, has lasting horrible side effects (memory loss, brain issues)
DeleteThat Buffalo chicken pizza sounds truly delicious! I completely agree with you about the health journey. That being said, congrats on the weight loss!
ReplyDeletethanks so much
