Slow Cooker Swedish Meatball
Ingredients:
Meatballs
- 2 slices of bread, I used sourdough bread
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 medium onion, grated
- 2 eggs
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- salt/pepper
Sauce:
- 1 1/4 cup beef brother
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 Tbsp corn starch
- 1 Tbsp Worcestireshire sauce
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp parsley
- salt/pepper
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil.
- Cut up bread into pieces and place in a food processor. Process into fine crumbs.
- In a bowl combine breadcrumbs and water and let sit for a few minnutes.
- Mix the bread and the rest of the meatball ingredients.
- Shape meat mixture into 1.5 inch balls. Place 1 inch apart on baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes. until no longer pink in the middle.
- Once cooked add to slow cooker.
- In a bowl stir together sauce ingredients.
- Pour over meatballs.
- Cook in slow cooker on low for 4 to 5 hours.
- Serve!
