Hey loves. Happy What's Up Wednesday. How is it already the last Wednesday of the month. I am ready for a new month with a fresh start and things to start going better. April has been full of sickness and rashes. Anna goes to the doctor again this afternoon and hopefully we can get some answers.
It's that time for What's Up Wednesday with Shay, and Sheaffer. On the last Wednesday of every month we are all invited to share a little bit everything that has been going on for the past month.
On the last week of April here's what's up...
~ WHAT I AM EATING THIS WEEK ~
Monday - Shrimp Alfredo with chickpea pasta
Tuesday - Shrimp Tacos with Mango salsa
Wednesday - Burger Bites
Thursday - Leftovers
Friday - Local Take Out
Saturday - Grilled Brats
Sunday - Pork Tenderloin
~ WHAT I AM REMINISCING ABOUT ~
This was the last time that Austin went to visit the Easter bunny. It was also one of those times where I wasn't there because I was working.
This year was the first time we went since Austin was a baby. Happy to say they were all smiles and I was there to see it.

~ WHAT I AM LOVING ~
We had some gorgeous weather and got outside as much as we could when it was nice. I was sitting outside reading and they all joined me with books.
We went to the zoo over spring break and I got sunburned. (why didn't anyone else?) I bought this after sun lotion. It is amazing, so cooling, moisturizing and smells like vacation. I used it on my chest where I was the worst burnt and I never even peeled.
Sibling love and Anna's excitement to meet Ella at the bus stop. Anna also met Austin at the bus stop the same day too.
I can not say enough how happy I am with our new house and neighborhood. There are so many kids that are my kids ages, people outside, people walking there dogs, everyone says Hi to each other.
Anna asked Ella to build her the princess castle that was in her closet. Ella built it, cleaned Anna's room, and even made a cute little spot to lay with her stuffed animals.
~ WHAT WE HAVE BEEN UP TO ~
Lots of hide and seek with this mouse. Anna got him for Christmas and it has been a family favorite again. So much easier than finding a place to hide. You hid the mouse and he makes cute noises and gets louder until you find him.
All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth.
Spring Cleaning is in full force as well as purging and selling items on the market place. I am loving these non toxic cleaning products
Making lots of sourdough. From bread to English Muffins and rolls for Easter.
Easter weekend we visited the Easter bunny at the American Legion, had dinner with my moms side of the family, church, Easter egg hunt with friends, and hosted dinner. Bonus got a picture with all of us smiling.
Ella and Austin have had good days and bad days with them getting along. They found a game they will play together because Ella loves Monopoly and Austin loves Star Wars.
Lots of sleepovers. Austin had a sleepover at Grandma's by himself. Anna and Austin had a sleepover at Memaws. Ella has had two sleepovers at different friends houses.
There has been lots of cuddles and naps. Ella, Austin and Anna all have had strep throat in the past month. Brian and I also got sick. Anna has also been fighting some rash and fever. We go today to hopefully get more answers.
Austin had a art and share event at school. Brian and I attended. The teacher showed a fun craft that we could make, but she also gives the kids the option to draw or paint. Austin choose to draw a picture, which I feel like is what he always does because I never see him come home with anything different.
~ WHAT I AM DREADING ~
In the big picture I am not dreading anything. In the little picture I am over Anna having this rash and ready for her to just get better.
~ WHAT I AM WORKING ON ~

I am a little behind on the hype but I am now watching season 4.
Anyone else excited for Season 3 of Bridgerton? It is finally being released May 4th. I am rewatching the first two seasons.

No plans, it is actually suppose to be rainy all weekend. If by chance it is nice we will be doing yard work.

ReplyDeleteHere's hoping you can get some answers and have a healthier May with more outside time. Also, I have an aloe vera lotion I put on when I get sunburned and I never peel. I LOVE it.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that the new neighborhood is working out so well!! It makes such a difference if the kids have other kids their ages. I think I need that Disney countdown thing for our trip!
