And that is a wrap on the 2023/2024 school year. I officially have a Kindergartener, a 3rd Grader, and a Middle Schooler (which for us is 7th grade)
It started like this....
And ended like this ....
Yesterday was Ella's and Austin's last day of school. Tuesday Ella's school had a 6th grade recognition ceremony followed by their end of the year event at Main Event. The end of the year is always extra crazy when you are graduating from that school and moving to a new one. Next year Ella will be in Middle School. ahhhh.
Austin finished up 2rd grade. His grade had field day the week before but he stayed home because he wasn't allowed to participate in anything with his broken arm and nerve damage restrictions. Instead my mom surprised us at the house and took him to get ice cream. Austin has 3 weeks of a summer reading program that starts next week, it is a few hours every day. Then he also has 6 weeks of speech therapy, which is one day a week for 30 minutes.
We may not have a huge vacation planned for this year, but we have some fun items to cross off our summer bucket list (I will share next week), fun items in our bored jar (also sharing more next week), and maybe an end of the summer surprise.
