Friday Favorites

Hey friends. Happy Friday. I am busy prepping the house and all the stuff for my kids birthday party tomorrow. Brian is prepping the yard, and a million projects. Tonight is also night 3 of Austin's play offs for baseball. Potentially his birthday party could be cancelled if his team makes it to the final game which is tomorrow at 230, and that would be potentially playing 3 games on Saturday. Which would be totally crazy. Only time will tell. Also today Ella comes home from being at her dads for the past two weeks. I have never been more thankful for her to have a phone we text everyday.

Time for some Friday Favorites with these lovely ladies: Erika, and Andrea.

~ ONE ~

We watched the local parade with some friends. They sit at the beginning of the parade, compared to we always use to sit towards the end. The kids got more candy, lots of frozen popsicles, and had a blast. Oh we also got home a lot sooner and didn't have to deal with traffic.

Our neighbors invited us over for a cookout. It raining on and off all day but we still had a good time. Instead of driving to see fireworks the kids played with glow sticks, sparklers, pop its, and watched the fireworks in the neighborhood.

~ TWO ~

Anna loves her brother. It isn't just them getting along and have sleepovers in each others rooms. It the cuddles and her leg on top of him.

~ THREE ~

Boys and their toys. Brian rented this little excavator to move large rocks in our yard and level out some flower beds. He is working on building a retaining wall and small (like 2 foot x 3 foot) pond, and another patio. Two neighbors and one uncle came over to help. We had two other neighbors donate rocks if Brian would move them. I can't wait for it to be finished.

~ FOUR ~

Austin had a birthday party that I dropped him off at. Anna found a climbing wall to play on. That is as high as she got then said, I'm too little. She normally had no fear.

~ FIVE ~

Even though our day at Cedar Point started off on the wrong foot, Austin lost his glasses on the first roller coaster he rode that day. (they still have no found them) It was a nice day with just the 4 of us, riding the rides the kids wanted, we walked the beach, and just took it easy.

  2. That's a lot of baseball lol. Good luck to them! We are meeting a landscaper this morning to discuss a plan for our back yard. He gave us one plan but now we need him to come back to earth with what is feasible dollar wise. The first quote was insane!! Have a nice weekend!

    1. It really is a lot of baseball especially for kids going into 2nd and 3rd grade. Potentially we have 5 games in 24 hours. I am exhausted for the kids. Landscaping is so expensive.

The parade sounds like a lot of fun and it looks like Brian was having a great time on the excavator.
    Happy birthday to Audrianna!
