July Monthly Musing

Hey friends. I am linking up today with  Patty and Holly for monthly musing. This months theme is Late Summer Fashion and Fun.

1- Summer travel- Where have you been and what trips are still coming up?

We have not traveled anywhere this summer as a family. Brian has had a few work trips to California. He has another work trip to Florida next month that I may tag along with him, and leave the kids at home with their grandparents. We are also tossing around a few nights stay with the kids somewhere next month before back to school also.

2- Favorite things you have done so far this summer?

Between going to get ice cream and having ice cream at home, we have had ice cream at least 2x a week.

Double date night with our neighbors to a winery.

We have season passes to Cedar Point and have went a couple of times. Ella always gets to bring a friend.

The best roller coaster

They both loved it.

Deer Park near Sandusky, Ohio. We went with my parents and niece. You walk around and get to feed a lot of deer and goats.

3- Share your go to outfits this summer.

A tank top and shorts, nothing special

4- Summer accessories you are never without?

This year my go to purse is a crossbody purse. Ella has a lulu lemon one, I just have one from Amazon. (I am always the one taking the pictures so no pictures of me with my purse)

5- Share you go to shoes this summer.

These croc sandals that I have had for a few years. They are still very comfortable. This will probably be my last year with them. under the buckle is elastic that is starting to break.

6- Share anything spontaneous you did this summer, big or small.

The other day we picked Ella up from her dads and went on an adventure. We ended up going to a Nature center, hike, two playgrounds, picnic lunch, and some back to school shopping. We were gone most of the day. It was a nice day of being out of the house, the kids getting along, and spending time together.

7- Have you seen any summer movies this year?

I have not seen any movies this summer.

8- Favorite summer sweet treat?

ice cream

9- Summer slow down or ready for fall?

Slow down. I am not ready for the kids to go back to school, but I am ready for all things pumpkin.

10- Ready for back to school, if you have kids in school?

Not ready. Thankfully we still have 5 weeks left of summer.

Thank you for stopping by!!!!! If you are new here,

Feel free to follow along.

  2. Trips to a fun amusement park and ice cream- it doesn´t get more summer goodness than that! Fun that you have passes to Cedar Point. We did for years at Kings Island and may get them next year again. How great that you have five weeks left of summer. Enjoy!

  3. if all goes as planned, my son will probably move to Perrysburg and he cannot wait to get season passes to Cedar Point. It's one of the draws, aside from a job there.
