Aubriella is 13

Happy Wednesday. AHHH I officially have a teenager. Where has the time gone? 13 years ago I became a mom, that's hard to believe too. Life was so different 13 years ago.

When Ella was 6 months old I separated from my now ex-husband. Ella was with me 90% of the time. It was just her and me. We moved back in with my parents and because of that Ella and I have such a wonderful connection with them. I went from working part time to working 3 jobs at one time to support us. Life was hard but I did everything for her.

Ella is such an awesome big sister. She was with her dad for two weeks this past summer and I didn't realize how much she helps around the house especially with her siblings.

With Ella turning 13, it is the harsh reality we have 5 more years with her living at home (ok 6 because she will graduate at 19). She is going to be spending more time with friends, eventually getting a job, getting a car, not wanting to spend time with her family. Time goes way to fast.

It is hard to believe that she is growing up into a beautiful, smart young lady. I blinked and she grew up.

Here 13 random things about Aubriella

1- She actually prefers to go by Ella.

2- This year she got cast in her school drama play of How to Enchant a Bookstore and will play Cinderella.

3- Ella is very independent but still asks for permission on a lot of things even though she is allowed to do it anytime. (like grab something to eat or take a shower)

4- She does her own laundry, but it will sit in the basket for a week before she puts it away.

5- She loves singing and wants to be a singer and song writer.

6- Ella is Taylor Swift obsessed.

7- If Ella got to pick she would wear dresses everyday and anything Christmas themed.

8- Ella prefers to listen to music on a record player.

9- She has her own sense of style and doesn't care what anyone else thinks.

10- Ella has taken her hearing loss like a champ. She doesn't let it stop her from doing things, unless she isn't allowed to do them due to her hearing loss such as contact sports.

11- Ella is officially the same height at me. She has been stealing my clothes for a while too.

12- If you let Ella pick where we are going for dinner she wants a place with crab legs. She is going to be an expensive date.

13- Ella is the best big sister to her brother and sister. They may fight at times but she is there when they need her.
