Hey loves. Happy Monday. How was your weekend? I'm sharing some highlights from the weekend and some random thoughts.
It is a three post day. Be sure to also check out the first link up of Share Our Lives of 2025 and Meal Planning Monday.
I am linking up with Sarah and Holly for Hello Monday.
Friday
My new go to breakfast. I made egg cups with a little bacon and cheese. Then a side of something, usually sourdough with some avocado or peanut butter.
After school my kids finally opened their letters from Santa. Two arrived before Christmas, one arrived after, then I didn't have all 3 kids, then I forgot. Better late than never.
Anna loves all the Snowflake glitter. (I do not and it is all over the house) Some years is actually confetti glitter other years has been larger paper/tissue paper glitter which I prefer.
Ohio State Football played in the Cotton Bowl against Texas. We had dinner and watched the game at our neighbors house. The kids and I stayed a few hours then went home at bedtime. School nights are rough to stay up until 11 or later for a game.
Saturday
We got a good 3 inches of snow overnight.
Baking while Brian was at a work meeting. Look a double yoke egg.
Brian had his first basketball game. He did good and scored a basket.
Anna also was very well behaved. She brought some Barbies that kept her entertained most of them.
My girlfriend and her girls came over to go sledding. I went with them, but didn't sled. I borrowed Ella's ski pants she got for Christmas, they are so cozy
Ella had fun at an Escape room with her Girl Scout Troop
Sunday
First church of 2025, life just happens. She was in her element. The one teacher even made dance streamers for the kids to play with as well as the instruments.
I spent a few hours getting my CEU hours for my cosmetology license. The kids and Brian ended up at the neighbors, then I went over afterwards with a pork roast for dinner.
Random Thoughts
- Why do I always wait until the last minute to do my continuing education hours for my cosmetology license? They are due Wednesday, I did most of them yesterday.
- I am proud of myself for going with my kids sledding, even though I didn't sled I was physically out there in the cold with them. I borrowed Ella's ski pants and they make a world of a difference at stopping the wind.
Thank you for stopping by!!!!! If you are new here,
Feel free to follow along.
XOXO
