Kids Summer Must Haves

Hey loves. We are counting down the days until summer break. It will be here before we know it. We go until the second week of June so we are late compared to a lot of schools. I have started planning all the things, from busy books to schedules, activities, items we need to stock up on and more. This will be our first summer with me working out of the house (and at home). Keeping my kids entertained is going to be essential for sanity and productivity. (and I don't mean just giving them electronics all day everyday).

Sand Box- You are never to old for a sandbox. We have had this sand box for a few years and love it. Since there isn't a bottle the water drains and you don't have a huge puddle when you open the lid.

Sand toys- I love the collapsible ones for easy storage and take up less space it we are traveling with them to the beach.

Pogo Jumper- Fun for inside and outside

Cloth swim goggles- These are a must especially if you have a child with long hair. No more rubber swim goggles pulling their hair or are hard to adjust.

Waterproof ear plugs- these were recommended by my daughters audiologist to prevent getting water in your ears.

Bug Bite Thing - it is inevitable that someone is going to get bite by a mosquito or stung by a bee. The suction works great to help with the healing.

Water table- my kids love playing with this. My 5 year old will climb into it to cool off.

Sun screen applicator- You use whatever sun screen you like and makes it easy to apply, especially to your face.

Reusable water balloons- they are magnetic closure so your kids can close them. No mess to clean up. We fill a bucket with water and they have fun.

Toss and catch- Velcro toss game.

Sidewalk Chalk

Masking tape- tape designs on the sidewalk for your kids to chalk, think stain glass look

Trampoline

Waterslide

Inflatable pool - we go through about 2-3 a year my kids are rough with them.

Slip and slide

We also have bikes, scooters, all the balls, a basketball hoop, a school playground within walking distance, and more.

Bug catcher

Mosquito patch sticker- I was hesitant at first, but they really do work. we put one stick on the back of the kids shirts (so they don't see it and play with it or take it off) and they haven't gotten a bite.
