Summer Break Week 5

Hey loves. Summer is flying by. Let's recap the last week

Monday July 7

Starting the week off with my mindset morning while listening to the birds outside.

Got my workout done before anyone else was up. I prefer it this way without interruptions and having to press pause.

I worked for a few hours then drove an hour one way to Ella's hearing doctor appointment. She has 70% hearing loss in her left ear, and now starting to lose some hearing in her right ear.

My parents were at my house watching my other two kids. When we got back I cut both my mom and dads hair.

I bought a new bird feeder that is squirrel resistant. Umm I didn't know I needed a deer resistant one too. Mama stuck her tongue on the feeder holes to get the food, she has yet to try and eat from the one on the window.

First playoff game for Austin. Games are now two and a half hours so Anna stayed home with Ella. Austin's team won their first game of playoffs.

Tuesday July 8

I didn't wake up early and didn't get a workout in. I actually forgot to set my alarm then felt like the whole day was rushed.

Babies before I headed off to work.

There was also a buck too, we don't normally see bucks in the summer.

All the squirrels, birds and chipmunks eating the bird food off the ground.

I worked for a few hours came home did some housework. Ella went to her dads for a few days.

Anna had gymnastics and since I am not allowed to go in and I see no point in driving home to turn around and drive back I sit in the car and read.

Anna had her first ever sleepover at our house with a friend.

Austin had his first ever sleepover at a friend's house.

What we did we swapped kids, I took the girls who talked my ear off, and our neighbor took the books who were wild.

Wednesday July 9

The girls woke up at 7am and crawled into our bed for a few minutes of cuddles then said they were hungry. We headed downstairs and they had waffles with Nutella for breakfast. After breakfast we had to drop my van off at the shop to get an oil change. On the way there the tire pressure light came on again, so the mechanic looked at my tire too before our trip.

It was a day of cleaning and packing for a weekend away. The girls rode chalked, played Barbies, used their imagination took pictures in their jersey's

rode bikes

And made these cute slinky dinks of Disney Princesses and Frozen that I found at the Dollar Tree.

At 330 I got the boys for a little bit our neighbors took the girls. When I dropped of Austin's friend, I was supposed to pick up Anna, but she didn't want to go watch Austin's baseball game for 3+ hours so she stayed and played with her friend, helped them clean and pack because they were leaving for vacation the next day too.

Austin's team ended up losing this game but still have more games to play before it is determined if they are in the championship game.

Thursday July 10

I picked up Ella from her dad. Brian and I went to work for a few hours. There was an event the upcoming event we were preparing for with a few hiccups along the way.

Brian took a different way home and stopped at what he thought was a lemonade stand. It turned out to be a cotton candy stand. Have you ever heard of kids selling cotton candy at the end of their drive way? He still bought some and brought it home for Anna and Austin to share. (Ella didn't want any)

After work I finished cleaning, packing, and loading the van.

Anna had her last t-ball game of the season.

Everyone showed up but Anna's best friend because they had already left for vacation. After the game we hit the road for our little mini weekend away.
