Friday Favorites 11.28.2025

Hey loves. It's Friday. How was your Thanksgiving, if you are American and celebrate? We had a nice somewhat relaxing holiday. Didn't get as much snow as I had hoped but still got a few inches exactly when I said it would hit.

Today is going to be short and sweet. It has been a crazy week and an even crazier day ahead. We are decorating for Christmas today!!!!

Time for some Friday Favorites with these lovely ladies: Erika, and Andrea.

Pictures with Santa at Cabela's. The Santa's are always in a good mood and making my kids laugh, even the teenager.

We mailed out letters to Santa.

~ THREE ~

Mommy's little hairdresser. Ella has been out of her room a lot lately and playing with her sister (and sometimes her brother)

We had a special delivery on Wednesday. Our Elves on a Shelf Gus Gus and Snowflake came back with a North Pole breakfast. I will be recapping our Elf adventures on Instagram and on my blog every Saturday.

Ella asked if we could go to Half Priced Books. I suggested we check out the Goodwill Bookstore. Ella is not my child who likes to read so if she wants to go to a bookstore I am all for it. This was our first time at our Goodwill bookstore, it is 99% books and they are so organized. There is a kids section, movies, puzzles, games, young adult, romance, mystery, cookbooks, religion, and more. I love that they weren't just all thrown on a shelf and you have to look through everything like you do at a normal thrift store. As you can see our little basket was full. We got a bunch of Legos that were unopened for only $3 (the one set was originally $4). Ella got the 3 Twilight series that she wanted and a couple of Pretty Little Liars books. I also grabbed a few books for my other two. I can see us going back her often.

~ SIX ~

Anna asked her daddy to help her with a Lego set. She didn't really need help she just wanted daddy to do it with her since Brian has been helping Austin with his big Star Wars Lego set.

~ SEVEN ~

I got my kids to watch the Thanksgiving Day parade because they wanted to see K Pop Demon hunters. I enjoyed the parade with all the music and it kept the kids entertained. I understand how "it's not a parade" as there aren't as many floats and balloons but I also understand they are trying to connect with a different audience now.

~ EIGHT ~

I bought these nail wraps from Lily Fox a while ago and found them the other day when I was cleaning. I quickly put them on to be festive. They are easy to do and so affordable.
