Hodge Podge 4.29.2026

Hey loves. Happy Wednesday.  I am joining in the Hodge Podge link up with Joyce over at From This Side of the Pond.

From this Side of the Pond

1. Are you feeling more reset, restart, or full speed ahead as we move into May? Tell us why.

We are full into Maycember with all the crazy schedules. Spring/Summer sports have started, try outs for fall school sports, end of the year music concerts and so much more is going on. We have a pretty full calendar.

2. Painting, sculpture, architecture, literature, cinema, theatre, music...what's your favorite form of art? Elaborate.

Music and literature. I am a big reader of all kinds. I also love music how it can change the mood.

3. What time is dinner at your house? How do you feel about leftovers?

I aim for dinner between 5 and 530. My kids come home from school starving and eat a snack then I start dinner. Now that spring/summer sports have started and patio season we have been eating later.

We are a leftover family. At least once a week we have a night planned for leftovers. My lunches are usually leftovers also. I hate wasting food.

4.What's the last thing you fell down a rabbit hole investigating?

My oldest starts high school in the fall. She was tossing around the idea of going to a vocational school. That was the last rabbit hole I went down to see what her options were. She ended up choosing to stay at our local high school. (which is ranked top 10 in the state and has so many offerings)

5. And now for a question from the book Marilyn (Memphis Bridges) gave me...

At what are you 'self-taught?'

I feel like I am self taught on a lot of things. From cooking, baking, all things sourdough, being a mom, etc.

Thank you for stopping by!!!!! If you are new here,

Feel free to follow along.
