Hey loves. Happy Wednesday. I am joining in the Hodge Podge link up with Joyce over at From This Side of the Pond.
1. Fall arrives this week in the northern hemisphere. Does it look/feel like fall where you live? What's something you love to do this time of year that makes you feel its officially fall?
Yes it is finally feeling like fall. It rained most of the weekend now temps are in the low 60s. I have already brought out the crock pot and ready for Crocktober. I am excited for pumpkin patch fun with my kids.
2. What's a small daily task or chore that always seems to fall through the cracks when your schedule gets busy?
When life gets busy a lot falls through the cracks from getting my workout in, taking the time for my devotional and bible readying, and vacuuming.
3. What's something you're falling for lately?
I am falling for a cup of tea at bedtime while curled up reading on my kindle.
4. Pumpkin is a popular flavor this time of year. Are you a fan? What's your favorite pumpkin flavored food or beverage?
I am team pumpkin everything. My current favorite is pumpkin latte from Paris Baguette. Thankfully there isn't one to close or I would be getting one all the time.
5.What's something you wish would never change? Explain.
I joke I would love to keep my kids little but I also love watching them grow. Change is good and meant to happen. I can't think of one thing I wish would never change right now.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
I feel like I always say this then fall off track but I feel like I am in a good routine with life and feeling like me again. From my morning workouts to devo time, making dinner most nights, keeping up with house work. I couldn't say that over the summer.

I always think it feels good to get back into routines after a summer of fun. I am back to my cup of tea every afternoon and it's a favorite thing. I often do iced coffee in the afternoons in the summer, but fall means tea time.
ReplyDeleteYay to it feeling like fall! It is starting to here as well. I am planning quite a few meals next month in my slow cooker! It's good to be back in a routine after the summer.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it crazy how just when you think you have a great routine going something changes? I mean, I guess that's life but it does drive me nutty sometimes. I feel like I have a good routine going right now and hope I can keep it up until the boys come home in mid-December. I'm realistic enough to realize that will throw off all routines for a month or so until they head back.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed reading your answers today. I can relate to #5 and my kids are grown and I have grands! It would be lovely if we could have the ability to replay moments of our kids' childhood and really savor those moments in slow motion.
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a great week!
