Movie Club Monday

Happy Monday. I hope you had a fabulous weekend. I had a great family and friends filled weekend which included a girlfriend day date to the movies, plus shopping and lunch on Saturday.

We started off out day by having a light lunch at McAlister's Deli. This is our go to lunch spot when we get together. Their menu has so many delicious and healthy options to choose from, it is affordable, and there is something we each will eat. (See why Heather and I are friends, she likes Disney too even though it is really only Star Wars)

After lunch we wondered around the mall, hit up the Disney store then made our way to the theater. (Yes Heather is pregnant not just being weird and holding her stomach.)

No movie at the theater would be complete without movie theater popcorn. It is always better than anything you can make at home. (We won't mention how many calories it is)

We saw 50 Shades Freed. We talked about going to see it when it came out a year ago when we watched the last movie. In November we planned a date to go see the movie. We had to wait until this past Tuesday to come up with a time since the theater took forever to release show times.
Quick Review:
It was a good movie. Plot line kept you going, not something you will want to watch a million times and not too many sex scenes. If it wasn't for reading the books and seeing the first two movies I wouldn't have had any desire to see this movie. If you compare the book to the movie you are going to be very very disappointing. Without giving anything away there were a lot of key words, scenes, people, and sub-stories not included in the movie as well as some parts out of order. I know this is a given with any movie that was originally a book, but still a big disappointment.

I am joining in a new link party. Movie Club Monday hosted by Little Dove Blog. Once a month she has a link up for different movie genre inspired post. This month is all about Romantic Comedies.
