Fall Home Tour

Happy Thrusday. The leaves are turning beautiful colors, some are even starting falling, Pumpkin Spice Latte, well Pumpkin everything is EVERYWHERE, it is Fall Y'all minus that it is still 80 degrees in Northern Ohio.  Last week I linked up with Emily and Sarah for Fall Favorites. This week we are sharing our Fall Home Tour.

I am always adding new decorations when I find something cute. At the same time I am limiting purchasing decorations that "would be perfect for this spot" because we plan on moving in the next year or so. (this doesn't include the front porch) In September I decorate for Fall, in October I decorate for Halloween, in November I decorate for Thanksgiving which is mostly back to my fall decorations but add a few things, and December is all things Christmas, which actually happens right around Thanksgivings.

Let's start outside. This is the first year that I am decorating outside on our front porch. The scarecrow I got at Ollies.

I bought the Large Wooden Crates off Amazon. Brian then stained them to match and still has to do a clear coat. The cute "Happy Harvest" truck sign was a new purchase also. The leaf garland is from Dollar Tree, which I had in my fall decorations box. All the pumpkins I picked up at Walmart yesterday. This area is still a work in progress as we haven't gone to any pumpkin patches yet this year.

I love mums. We have a few in the yard and window box so far. There will be more in pots too.

Come on in. I made the Fall Minnie Mouse wreath a few years ago. I keep hinting to Brian we need to paint the front door so my wreaths will pop more.

Our living room is where we spend most of our time. There are touches of small pumpkins I bought on clearance years ago. (these pumpkins are similar) Harvest Blessings sign.

New this year I purchased a few small green pumpkins and a couple of white ones. I loving the way it looks all put together and not just all orange everywhere.

One of my favorite decorations in our house that is out all year is the "HOME" letters. The letter O changes seasonally. There is a pumpkin, flower, butterfly, snowman, etc. This I purchased from LTD commodities.

Mickey and Minnie Mouse pumpkins that are suppose to light up but the kids kept breaking the bulb by playing with the light previous year. Now it just sits on the end table.

The last main room that has decorations for fall is the dining room. Happy Fall Y'all sign from Kirklands last year.

I love having fresh flowers and candles on our dining room table. It makes a home feel more welcoming and warm. Flowers from Trader Joes.

Well that's pretty much all our fall decor so far. There are a few random pumpkins in the kids rooms that they stole and I am sure I will buy more before the end of the season.

Thank you for stopping by!!!!! If you are new here,

  2. Your mums looks so good - I am waiting for mine to really pop. And I can just imagine they are so pretty in window boxes. The Mickey and Minnie Mouse pumpkins are so fun. I can see why the kids kept playing with them, even if it did break the bulb!
