5 Questions Part 4

Happy Monday. How was your weekend? I had a nice relaxing weekend with catching up on some things around the house, looking back at the week, and preparing for the week ahead.

I am not one to talk politics but this past week has really been such a historic week for women and girls everywhere. No matter your political views, we can all agree seeing a female Vice President is so motivating and inspiring. Thinking of all the girls who have dreamed of being President, your dreams could really come true one day.

If you follow me on Instagram you may have noticed I haven't been posting or storying as much. This was not intentional. Audrianna has started with her terrible 2's, 6 months early. From lack of sleep to getting into everything. We spent a lot more time on the floor playing together, cuddling, and chasing her around the house. We are all still adjusting to the new hybrid schedule, being in the car more, and Brian working weird longer hours.

Last week I posted on Instastories a question box for random questions for today's post. I got a bunch. I answered a few in stories and I have answered 5 below. On my instagram stories today I am also doing a DAY IN THE LIFE. it has been forever since I did one. I have gotten a few requests for an updated on.

Do you actual notice/feel different since starting your healthier lifestyle?
YES! I have so much more energy, less bloating... In the past 3 weeks I have lost an inch in my stomach and I am down 4.5 lbs. I am not looking for that afternoon pick up me or nap to get me through the day.
It has been a struggle some days to get my workouts in, but I had finished the first 3 weeks with switching up days. My eating has not been perfect. But I am giving myself grace. I am listening to my body and really noticing when I eat something that doesn't agree with me (like firecracker shrimp)  I am still treating myself to some dark chocolate every now and then.
Check back Thursday where I will be sharing more about my wellness journey and how you can join me.

Are you antsy to get back to Disney World?
OMG YESSSS. We have cancelled/postponed 3 vacations in the last 2 years between pregnancy and Covid. Everyone tells me right now is the time to go, but I can't see taking my kids and having these memories. Ella is a fight to wear her mask properly (so we don't go many places). Audrianna wouldn't be able to meet princesses. It just wouldn't be the same. We are in talks of doing a Disney trip later this year. Fingers crossed things start getting back to normal.

Are you over the Covid BS as much as I am?
Yes. I miss seeing my friends and family. I miss going places.

Did y'all redone your kitchen? it looked like the countertops and cabinets were redone.
Yes. We painted the cabinets, changed all the handles, got a new backsplash, new counters, new floors and added counters to the one wall. It isn't finished yet. Once it is done I will show finished pictures.

What is your least favorite household chore?
Dishes. We don't have a dishwasher. I at least do dishes 2-3 times a day.

  2. Girl SAME with dishes. If I never had to do another dish for the rest of my life I would be very happy

  3. I feel the same way with our Disney trip! My boys are fine with their masks since they are older (and don't want to meet princess of course) but it feels like it would be such a watered down experience that it's just not worth going yet... even though I am dying to!
