Whats Up Wednesday

Hey loves. Happy Thanksgiving Eve if you live in the United States. I am excited for not having to make anything this year. Next year we will be hosting so it will be so different. I will enjoy the calm of this year. Are you hosting or attending Thanksgiving?

Oh can I also say I am so happy that stores are not going to be open on Thanksgiving. I enjoy my time with family, not rushing to get to the store at 6pm for Black Friday deals. Also I am not shopping on Black Friday, unless it is online.

It's that time for Whats Up Wednesday with Shay, and Sheaffer. On the last Wednesday of every month we are all invited to share a little bit everything that has been going on for the past month.

On the last week of August here's whats up...

~ WHAT I AM EATING THIS WEEK ~

Sunday - Grilled Pork Tenderloin with red skin potatoes and brussel sprouts

Monday - Baked Ravioli

Tuesday - Chicken Taquitos

Wednesday - Chicken with broccoli sheet pan and cheesy rice

Thursday -  Thanksgiving

Friday - Cheeseburger Soup

Saturday - Leftovers

~ WHAT I AM REMINISCING ABOUT ~

Last year, oh what a year. Our Elf on the Shelf, Gus Gus came 14 days early so he could quarantine before all the fun began. This year he is arriving on Thanksgiving morning with his special North Pole Breakfast.

Two years ago we went out the Polar Express. The kids keep asking to go again, but tickets are even harder to get because of spacing restrictions.

Anna as an itty bitty. Now she is running amuck, talking, in school a few days a week.

Ella when she use to like me doing her hair, wearing cowgirl boots, and wearing plaid. This was from 2017

Summer 2020 Austin had his kidney surgery. It has been a big topic of discussion lately with him starting a new school and the potential risks of reversal.

~ WHAT I AM LOVING ~

I may hate stuffed animals but I love Christmas stuffed animals. Especially the ones that sing and dance.

Trader Joes Candy Cane Green Tea is a new nighttime favorite.

I brought out all our Christmas books. We use to do the 25 days of Christmas and they use to get a new book every year. That became to much that we just bring out Christmas books every year.

Austin and Anna loving each other and Brian getting in the mix too.

We have seen deer a few times out of windows. Here they are eating pumpkin.

~ WHAT WE HAVE BEEN UP TO ~

We got the keys to our new house. You can read all about our move HERE

I have become handy putting furniture together, unpacking boxes, rearranging, etc. All the fun stuff that comes with moving.

Sneak Peak at Audrianna's room.

Just some added excitement to our already crazy life, lets throw in a gas leak. You can find out all the details HERE

Just some morning traffic jams with an accident. With our new schedule in the morning before school, Austin has some time to play in the mornings.

Our new house currently has lots of trees, compared to our old house had no trees. I also say currently because a few of the trees need cut down for numerous reasons. With trees coming leaves. The kids have had a blast playing in them.

  2. We used to have so many of those stuffed singing animals for Christmas. My grandmother used to buy one for my boys each Christmas (each!). Over the years they've either stopped working or got ruined in storage so I only have few left; which I am okay with.
