Friday Favorites

Hey loves. Happy Friday. I keep seeing other people celebrating the end of the school year already over on Instagram. Is your school out? My kids go into the second week of June. We are over here counting down the days though. 11 days left, not counting weekends.

Time for some Friday Favorites with these lovely ladies: Erika, and Andrea.

~ ONE ~

Anna is loving playing in cold water in a bucket. She gets a cup and dumps it all over the place from my flowers to washing her car to making a mud puddle. Her newest thing is sitting in the bucket. I always say she is the "if I fit I sit" kid.

I have come to the realization that she will need more than one outfit a day and don't put her in anything nice if we are going to be playing outside.

~ TWO ~

We may not have a patio or porch yet. But who says you cant sit in the middle of the backyard, one of the only spots that is flat, at our patio table and have dinner outside. The kids loved it. It was so relaxing hearing the birds chirping and watching all the squirrels run around. This will have to do until we are able to get the patio and deck build.

~ THREE ~

For the last 26 days of school their has been a different theme. K was kindness, n is neon, etc. Here they are on L day for Luau.

~ FOUR ~

Brian left his chocolate (from Christmas) in some little girls reach. How do you say no to this smile? She stole two pieces.

~ FIVE ~

Ella had a music concert at her school. It was during the day and limited to 2 parents per child. She is in the second row, wearing the jean top and white dress with leggings underneath. She was so nervous that she kept standing behind another kid while she was singing so this was the only good photo I got of her.

Half of the concert was vocal where they sang 5 songs, 3 in English, 1 in Spanish and 1 in French. Spanish and French are the foreign languages that her school has, you learn one each semester starting in Kindergarten, which is something that is completely new to us as the old school didn't offer any languages.
The other half of the concert the kids played the recorder. They had only been practicing since February and did really well.

In case you missed, here's a quick look at the blog this week:

Monday- What I Ate
Wednesday- Hodgepodge

  1. Our schools don't end until mid- or even end of June up here so we haven't even started counting down yet.
