Hey loves. It is so crazy to look back and see that 14 years ago yesterday I published my first blog post. At the time I was blogging at All Adrienne at adge21.blogspot.com I had 329 published posts over there and have since had 2019 posts over here, for a total of 2348. That is a lot. (At one time I even had a blog just for recipes too.)
It started as sharing my journey with being a newlywed, infertility, home ownership, having a baby, getting a divorce, more kids, more houses, more adventures and lots of pictures. I love sharing and connecting over the years. I have friends from all over the country that I met blogging. At times it feels like work but I love it.
Blogging has changed so much over the years. Bloggers have come and gone, I have taken breaks myself.
What I have learned from blogging over all these years:
- Being consistent with what works for me. I know not many people check out my recipes, but for me it is my easy to find, take everywhere with me, online cookbook of our family favorites.
- Get in front of the camera, not just behind taking all the pictures. Readers/Followers want to see me too, not just my kids.
- I am more confident, comfortable, and organized when it comes to blogging than all other forms of social media
- God can do anything, you know-far more than you could imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams. – Ephesians 3:20
- I am not everyone's cup of tea but I am ok with that.
- Blog readers are the sweetest biggest supporters. From infertility to fitness journey and everything in between.
