Whats Up Wednesday August Edition

Hey loves. Happy What's Up Wednesday. We are in full swing of back to school with my two oldest. Next week my youngest starts pre-k. New schedules, new routines. Our temps have been crazy. We will have a random day in the 90s then back to the upper 70s. This week temps are in the 60s and 70s, Monday morning Ella went to the bus stop and it was 53 degrees. Welcome to an early fall or fake early fall.

It's that time for What's Up Wednesday with Shay, and Sheaffer. On the last Wednesday of every month we are all invited to share a little bit everything that has been going on for the past month.

~ WHAT I AM REMINISCING ABOUT ~

Back in 2018 Brian and his buddies painted our old house. We went from green to that blue. We started planning to paint our house next year but this fall we are going to paint our shed the same color we plan on painting our new house.

They were so cute and small.

~ WHAT I AM LOVING ~

Ella and Anna slept in bed together for the first time ever. We had a house guest and Anna had the choice of my bed or Ella's and she picked Ella's. Since they she has asked to sleep with Ella a few times but it has always been a school night.

The kids summer lunch of choice a charcuterie board. I love them sharing and spending time together.

Before school every morning while we are waiting for the bus to come Austin has been playing basketball in the driveway. I have been enjoying sitting outside with my coffee while we wait too. I love that his bus stop is our driveway now too.

~ WHAT WE HAVE BEEN UP TO ~

We had a learning lessons for everyone of why you don't run with sharp objects. Anna was running with a pencil, ran into the bathroom door, and cut open her face. Thankfully it wasn't to to deep. We used a butterfly bandage to hold it together because she kept crying and splitting it back open.

Austin attended a 4 day basketball camp. He loved it and can't wait to play again later this fall.

We put our season passes to Cedar Point to good use. I have expected to use them a lot more than we did but we still got our money worth.

Brian and I went to Twilight at the Zoo. It is an adult only event from 7pm to 12am. Unlimited beer, wine, and finger foods. This is our second time going and had a great time.

We also went with our neighbors who also made it more fun. We have hung out and went out with them a lot this summer.

My kids had a lemonade stand and sold Girl Scout cookies that we bought last year to sell and forgot about.

Even though they don't look excited we did get ice cream a few times.

A girlfriend gave us this waterslide that her girls don't use enough, it is old and breaking apart, and they wanted out of their yard. My kids have loved it and we have used it a few times and had friends over. Unfortunately it won't last another season.

Austin started 2nd grade

~ WHAT I AM DREADING ~

Our new school schedule with Anna starting preschool. The school switched Anna's class to a different time based on enrollment. Our time frame use to be Ella home at 3, get Anna at 330, Austin home at 4. Now Ella gets home at 3 and Anna gets out of school at 4 and Austin gets home at 4. We are still working out the details. With this also means I went from having alone time from 1230 to 3 and now it is 1-3 which really is 120- 3 if you count drive time home. Its only this year, next year Anna will be in full day Kindergarten

~ WHAT I AM WORKING ON ~

To be honest way to much. I am still a partner with Bodi (formerly Beachbody). I am also looking into affiliate programs with two other companies (I wouldn't be doing both together). I still have my Etsy shop that I would like to grow and a youtube channel.

~ WHAT I AM EXCITED ABOUT ~

All things Fall and Halloween. Pumpkin everything, fall festivals, Halloween walks, cooler temps.

~ WHAT I AM WATCHING ~

I have been catching up on Hallmark and Great American Family movies that I have saved on my DVR with the Frndly app. Then I saw they have When Calls the Heart has all the seasons available to watch so I started watching that too.

~ WHAT I AM LISTENING TO ~

Nothing new. I haven't bought any new clothes for myself this month. I actually am purging my clothes.

~ FAVORITE AMAZON PURCHASE THIS MONTH ~

Ella is obsessed with cherry's but she makes a mess when she eats them and takes the seed out. This cherry pitter gets rid of the mess and is so easy to use.

~ WHAT WE ARE DOING THIS WEEKEND ~

Family cookout. Disney orchestra concert I got tickets for my birthday.

~ WHAT I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH ~
