Hey friends. We had a very off weekend. With that I barely took any photos either. but sharing how things went. It is also going to be a weird week. My kids only have school today, then this evening we have conferences. Anyone else always stress over conferences even though you know everything is fine?
I am linking up with Sarah and Holly for Hello Monday.
Friday
There were the only pictures in my camera roll from Friday. It was an off day. I started off the morning with a little quiet time, but didn't do everything before my kids needed me. You would think taking up at 545 I would have more than 15 minutes to myself, doesn't always happen.
I volunteered at my two youngers school for the PTA bookfair. I was there earlier in the week for Anna's classroom slot, Friday was Austin's class room slot. They each got to pick out 3 books, then I bought 3 extra books to give to them for Christmas.
After volunteering Brian wanted to go grocery shopping with me. We started at Sam's Club, then Aldi's and ended with Trader Joes. Because we were gone so long and needed to get the record any grocery hauls before I had to pick Ella up from the bus stop, it was pouring down rain.
Brian decided for dinner he wanted a sub. He went to Giant Eagle (as if we hadn't been to enough stores already that day) and grabbed the fix-ins for turkey subs. Even the kids ate them. The rest of the evening Brian and Austin played a little x-box, and Anna and I colored.
Saturday
I was up at 6am to make pizza crust. Brian decided to host the Ohio State football game and invite people over at 11am and wanted breakfast pizza. The sourdough pizza crust we love takes a few hours to rise so I had to get up early. I drank my preworkout but never worked out instead I got the cleaning the house.
Anna had her third week of swim lessons. She is getting more confident in floating on her back.
Her favorite part is jumping in at the end.
Ohio State football game. We had donuts,
egg casserole,
breakfast pizza, bacon, French toast, and pancakes.
Plus mimosas then later espresso martini's.
By 5pm . I was done. I had to much to drink, not enough to eat. I do not recommend that. I suffered the rest of the night and most of Sunday.
Sunday
I woke up Sunday still feeling like crap. I didn't really sleep well the night before, I was blah feeling and weak. I spent most of the day on the couch, sleeping on and add, drinking lots of water with electrolytes and watching Hallmark movies. Brian took the kids to church and Sunday school. He also went to our neighbors house to finish off the garden and took the kids over there to play as well.
By dinner time I was finally feeling better and had energy again. We had leftovers for dinner then I gave the kids their baths.
Have my weekend was ruined due to my stupidity. Thankfully we didn't have huge plans I missed. I was suppose to pick up the turkey for Thanksgiving from my parents house but they were able to put it in their fridge and the plan is to go get it today.
Thank you for stopping by!!!!! If you are new here,
Feel free to follow along.
XOXO
