Hey loves. It has been forever since I did a fun Hodge Podge link up with Joyce over at From This Side of the Pond
1. When does time pass slowly for you? When does time pass quickly for you?
Time goes slowly when I am waiting for something like the last day of school and countdown until vacation. Time goes fast when I don't want it to go fast like the holidays.
2. Do you have a favorite beach? What's your favorite 'beach' activity? Tell us what we'd find in your beach bag.
I grew up going to Carolina Beach, North Carolina. It was somewhat quiet, had a fun little boardwalk, and sand you could walk on. Over the years they got rid of the boardwalk and it got more touristy. My favorite beach activity growing up with boogie boarding. Now I enjoy an occasional dip and relaxing with a book, but that doesn't happen with kids.
3. Your favorite book or movie with a beach setting?
Fools Gold and Blue Crush movies
4. What's a food you love, but find it's a pain to eat? Is it worth it?
I love crab legs, but get discouraged when the meat is hard to get out and they start getting cold.
5. Do you like roller coasters? What's the best (or worst) roller coaster you've been on?
I live close to Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio which is the roller coaster capital of the world. I grew up riding coasters. Now I have a love hate relationship with them. I have an irrational- rational fear of them now that I am a mom. I only like smooth roller coasters with my back issues.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
We leave vacation in a week and I have so much packing to do as well as making our family vacation shirts, stroller sign, mouse keeping envelopes, and autograph books.
Hi, visiting from the Hodgepodge. You live close to roller coaster capitol of the world ... since I have never been on a roller coaster maybe I should come visit. LOL
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your trip!!

My hubs chaperoned a show choir trip for our girls to Cedar Point one year but I've never been. I like Disney rides because so many are fun but are not coasters. Good luck with all the packing and safe travels!
ReplyDeleteI find that, when you are waiting for something like a vacation time goes so slowly and then when you are on vacation it whizzes over.
ReplyDeleteI have never tried crabs legs, I think cracking them open puts me off a little.
Good luck with the packing, have a great trip!
Oh man . . . the couple of days before vacation take forever to go by!!! I long for retirement when maybe that won’t be the case.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree with your answer about time going quickly or slowly. Vacation days and weekends really go by too fast. Roller coasters aren't quite as much fun when there's back and neck pain involved! Hope you're having a great week!
