Hey loves. Happy What's Up Wednesday. How is it already the last Wednesday of the month. January has felt like it is 500 days long. I swear I randomly look out the window and it is snowing again and wasn't supposed to. I think we have used 3 or 4 snow days this month. Thankfully my kids school was 1 of 4 in the area that went back to school today. I drove my oldest so she didn't have to be on a cold but but the younger two hopped on the bus no problem. I am looking forward to a quiet calmer day. I have some cleaning and outs and ends to do around the house, but also watching tv with no interruptions.
It's that time for What's Up Wednesday with Shay, and Sheaffer. On the last Wednesday of every month we are all invited to share a little bit everything that has been going on for the past month.
On the last week of January here's what's up...
~ WHAT I AM EATING THIS WEEK ~
With this cold weather, random snow/ice days, and getting together with our neighbors I have been slacking on our meal planning.
Monday we had grilled cheese and homemade chicken noodle soup
Tuesday chicken tacos
Tonight I have to go pull some meat still opps.
~ WHAT I AM REMINISCING ABOUT ~
Ella played basketball for one season when she was in 4th grade. She enjoyed it but someone put too much pressure on her that she it wasn't fun anymore and she didn't want to do it. (not me and it has been the same thing with a lot of sports and activities she does unfortunately) Watching Anna play this year, they both have the same blocking techniques.
The beach. We are going on a cruise soon in Mexico and my kids keep asking if we can go swimming at the beach too, yes there will be some beach time.
~ WHAT I AM LOVING ~
I am loving all the snow. Granted I really haven't had to go out in it and I hate the cold, but it is so pretty and I love my kids getting to experience snow days.
The best outdoor chiller for wine is the snow.
I am loving all the use of our fireplace we have gotten this year.
Anna has been writing random love you notes at church each week.
Ella trampled through the snow to feed the deer. They were happy and hung out around the house that day.
~ WHAT WE HAVE BEEN UP TO ~
We hosted a conspiracy theory for a 41st birthday party for a friend.
My morning stack. I have gotten back into a consistent habit of waking up and taking a little time for myself most mornings.
Anna is doing her first year of basketball. She is enjoying it even though she is little.
Austin is doing another year of basketball. He is gaining confidence and getting better with his skills.
There have been a lot of Lego building and playing.
Austin learned how to tie his shoes. (We never really had a reason or taught him before)
Birthday party fun with the girls I use to babysit.
Snow day means I work from home with my little sidekick.
~ WHAT I AM DREADING ~
I was dreading another snow/ice day in a row. My kids needed to go back to school. Thankfully they went back today.
~ WHAT I AM EXCITED ABOUT ~
Ella is in her school drama club production of " A Wrinkle in Time" I can't wait to see it next week.
~ WHAT I AM WATCHING ~
Tomorrow I will be watching Bridgerton's new season
~ WHAT I AM READING ~

~ WHAT I AM LISTENING TO ~
Lots of layers, fuzzy warm socks and slippers. sweatshirts or sweaters with a shirt underneath. Some days even two pairs of pants. It has been cold.
~ FAVORITE AMAZON PURCHASE THIS MONTH ~
It is a low spend month, especially on Amazon. I did grab some mystery resign animals for my kids to use for Valentine's Day parties at school.
~ WHAT WE ARE DOING THIS WEEKEND ~
Friday night Brian and I are going to the Cleveland Monsters Hockey game. Saturday we have two basketball games. Sunday we have church and Anna has her last class for first communion.
~ WHAT I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH ~
