Hey loves. How was your weekend? We had a busy weekend so with so many church activities, sports, and family time. Snow day calculator was wrong for today. It said we had a 99% chance of a snow day, well my kids have school. Good thing I didn't tell them.
I am linking up with Sarah and Holly for Hello Monday
Friday
Friday evening hockey game with our church. 15 members got surprised with ....
Being bench-warmers Brian and Austin went last year so Anna and I got to go this year and I also took the girls.
It was an interesting expereience
So much fun.
Me and my princess, Austin wanted nothing to do with pictures.
Incase you can't tell from this picture, Monsters won.
Saturday
Our last basketball game of the season. (we will be out of town for the last game) Anna progressed throughout the season but needs to grow (which probably wont happen) and get more upper body strength.
Austin also had his last game of the season (again we will be away for the true last game). His team fought hard against the top team and just couldn't do it. The other team was a lot taller and that made it hard. Austin did awesome at the game and got 3 shots and was feisty.
All the laundry I times I swear there are extra kids hiding in my house.
While I was getting caught up on odds and ends around the house Brian was at helping the church set up for our Pastor's retirement party.
Brian and I had afternoon plans with our little table for 8 church group and went to play indoor mini golf and dinner.
Afterwards we went to Brian's moms house to celebrate her birthday and she also watched the kids while we were out.
Sunday
It was a busy day. We were all to church by 830, even though service wasn't until 10. I had checks to print for all the vendors of the day for our Pastor's retirement party. The church service ended up being 2 hours, then we had a charcuterie mingle. Following up a reception at another location. It was a long but good day. So many memories, stories, and tears shared about our Pastor.
I took no photos all day.
Thank you for stopping by!!!!! If you are new here,
Feel free to follow along.
XOXO

Being a benchwarmer is so cool! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteBeing a benchwarmer sounds like fun. Always hard when a good pastor retires. Ours recently left for a different role in a large church (ours is small) and I shed a few tears. I know God works these things out but the change is tough. Enjoy your travels!
