What's Up Wednesday 2.25.2026

Hey loves. Happy What's Up Wednesday. How is it already the last Wednesday of the month. February has been so quick, full of plans, heart breaking with so many celebrity deaths, and random sickness.

It's that time for What's Up Wednesday with Shay, and Sheaffer. On the last Wednesday of every month we are all invited to share a little bit everything that has been going on for the past month.

On the last week of February here's what's up...

~ WHAT I AM EATING THIS WEEK ~

Last night we had pierogies and Kielbasa

Tonight we had ground beef tacos

The rest of the week will be eating leftovers and whatever is in the fridge so it doesn't go to waste.

~ WHAT I AM REMINISCING ABOUT ~

Last year Ella was Cinderella in her school drama production.

4 years ago we took Ella to her first Ohio State girls basketball game. We had so much fun. It feels more than 4 years ago.

Anna found this picture of herself. She asked what she was eating to make sure a mess, an oreo.

Ella use to do gymnastics. She can still do the splits and a cartwheel.

Austin use to be so little and used to help clean.

~ WHAT I AM LOVING ~

Watching Anna progress with her gymnastic skills. She was bending to her eyebrows, now she can reach her toes.

These two soaking up all the sun on the random day with temperatures in the 60s.

Signs of spring, the geese are back in the churches parking lot.

The last few weeks there have been 7 deer hanging around the house.

I am loving my new haircut, even with the horror story that goes with it. I went somewhere and got it cut, came home and adjusted the layers and bangs that I didn't like. When I went to straighten my hair I realized how uneven the bottom was, one side was a good 1/2 inch longer. Ella helped me straighten it out with the issue of her being left handed and I have right handed scissors. After it was all said and done I am loving it.

~ WHAT WE HAVE BEEN UP TO ~

Ella was in her school's production of drama club production of A Wrinkle in Time. I loved seeing the improv the students had to do with some kids struggling learning lines with hiccups in practice with snow days and winter break. It is also sad that it was Ella's last drama production. (it is a lot harder to get into the high school drama plays)

There has been lots of basketball, even Saturday

for both kids. They both loved this season.

Anna had her First Communion.

Brian and I had a Valentine day date night.

Valentine's Day game night with friends.

Fun at the Lake Erie Monsters game with our church and some of us got to sit on the bench.

It was such a fun experience especially after watching Heated Rivalry.

~ WHAT I AM DREADING ~

I am excited for our vacation. But dreading certain aspects currently. I am nervous with everything going on in Mexico currently. I am also worried about our short layovers that we will miss a flight, on the flights that we won't be sitting together since we didn't pay to pick our seats,
