Hello Monday on a Wednesday 5.20.2026

Hey loves. Happy Wednesday. Where has the week gone. It was a crazy busy weekend. From date night to baseball under the links to a fun adventure. Then a busy two days at work throw in sports, rain, sick kids and all the Maycember with all the activities. I have tried sitting down to write this post the last two days and I am finally getting around to finishing it on Wednesday opps.

I am linking up with Sarah and Holly for Hello Monday.

Monday

I didn't plan another Costco run two weeks in a row but we needed vitamins and I grabbed more.

I couldn't pass up these pots 3 for $19.
I also did our weekly grocery shopping.

Then I went and got my nails done. My nails keep breaking so I got gel to thicken them some. This is supposed to be a cat-eye but didn't turn out as expected.

Anna had softball practice. Brian and Austin went with us, then we dropped the kids off at grandma's for a sleepover and date night.

Brian and I had a delicious dinner at Cooper Hawks Winery. We are wine club members and I had only been there for brunch and had a few bottles to pick up. We picked calamari for our appetizer. It was delicious.

For my entree I got ahi tuna. It was also delicious minus the ginger on top.

Brian got some comfort food.

After dinner we went to a local bar and had a drink while watching the last of the Cavs basketball game.

Saturday

Brian and I slept in a little with no kids home. We grabbed bagels at Einstein's then walked around the local farmers market. The farmers market was a disappointment, not many vendors and not typical farmers market finds. I was also turned off on a "truck" that was selling fruits that are no in season or local.

After the farmers market we picked up the kids and headed home. Brian had planned to help his brother with yard work. The kids and I stayed home.

I needed paint to touch out my Disney pots so we ran up to Michaels. Anna and Austin picked out a house they wanted to paint. Anna helped prep the pots to be painted.

Austin picked out a log cabin, Anna picked out a sunflower bird house.

Austin had his first game under the lights this year. I love our team between the moms and the girls. There are 2 other sisters on the team in the same grade as Anna. They played and got a long the whole 2 hour game. They even unplanned had on yellow shirts and black skirts. (Anna had a pink coat on for a while.)

Austins team ending up winning 5 to 16. They stopped the score in the 6th inning but still continued to play until 9pm. It was a Saturday and a gorgeous night.

His team and coaches.

Sunday

We started off our Sunday with church and the last Sunday School of the school year. Then we headed home for a quick change of clothes and

headed to Cedar Point.

Tradition to always start on the Carousel.

She is almost 46 inches, one day I won't have to stand with her.

The kids had chicken nuggets and fries. While we were getting me a walking taco and the kids an ICEE the boys rode the fast race horses.

We wondered around the park for a while, then the dads and boys went towards the bigger rides, while the moms took the girls on the smaller rides.

This year Cedar Point has refillable popcorn buckets. The refill is only $2 but you have to bring back the bucket every time.

We caught up with the boys for dinner and bumper cars.

We were home by 8pm for the dads to watch the Cavs game, and get the kids ready for bed as it was a school night.

It was a busy but fun weekend and a great start to what summer is going to be like.
