Hey loves. We finally had our last day of school on Tuesday. I officially have 3 kids in 3 different schools, with 3 different start times at different campuses. I have a Freshman in high school, a 5th grader at the Intermediate school, and a 2nd grader at the elementary school. Back to School will truly be an adventure.
Ella's last day of middle school. 8th grade brought so many adventures from being the leader of WEB (where everyone belongs), a member of the student council, a trip to Washington DC, and so much more.
The last morning of her ever walking to the bus stop, next year there are not buses at the high school. I didn't realize her last day of taking the bus home was last Monday with so many other activities going on.
There was an 8th grade recognition ceremony. Each kid got a certificate, and they were recognized as a group from different programs they participated in. Ella finished the year with high honor roll, and her gpa is above a 4.0 due to taking high school credited French class. ( report cards are not out yet)
Ella and her boyfriend. She is growing up to be a beautiful, polite, young lady who is going to achieve so much in her 4 years of high school.
Austin had his last day of 4th grade. He will be moving on to the intermediate school with real changing of classes and lockers.
His school did a quick recognition ceremony then a clap out where they walked the halls and saw all the other kids in the school followed by outside to see all the parents.
He really has had the best teachers.
Audrianna had her last day of 1st grade. (Thankfully there wasn't any recognition ceremony) She will be moving onto 2nd grade.
It also was the last morning that Anna and Austin will be riding the bus together for a few years. They will again when Anna is in 5th and Austin is in 8th.
Let all the summer fun begin.
