Friday Favorites 8.21.2026

Hey loves. It's Friday we are officially back in school and summer break is over. Where is the year going? I am excited for a quiet day at home with no one bothering me for snacks every 5 minutes. Mentally I have a list of five million things that I want to get done now that my kids are not home. I am doing a few of those today, going to do a full brain dump and enjoy my first day being home alone since I worked yesterday.

Time for some Friday Favorites with these lovely ladies: Erika, and Andrea.

~ ONE ~

First Day of 2nd grade

First Day of 5th grade

First Day of 9th grade

~ TWO ~

Brian went to the Simple Plan concert with his brother, brother in law, and sister in law. His sister in law must have been bored she chatgpt'd their photo to make them rockers. I wish I had the original photo where two are in business attire, no tattoos, cuffs, mark-up, jewelry, or hair.

~ THREE ~

Fall ball with the best 2nd grade girl siblings keeping each other entertained for the 2 and a half hours of games on Saturdays.

~ FOUR ~

We never do dinner out with tablets. It was a treat for the kids to have their tablet and nice for the adults to be able to sit and have a conversation and enjoy hot pizza without being asked to leave a million times. This will never be the norm in our house, to each their own, but was a nice treat.

~ FIVE ~

I took Ella and Anna to the back to school WestFest. The band played, then there was a bunch of tables and activities from all the sports teams. Ella or her two girlfriends took Anna around as I followed behind. Ella also ran around with her boyfriend.

~ SIX ~

Ella is being artsy and made a Halloween decoration painted on a brick. The girl is after my heart of losing my sanity, last nerve, and patience.

~ SEVEN ~

Austin had his open house. It was very overwhelming with so many people but he did so good with opening his locker.

Anna's open house we only dropped off her supplies since her teacher wasn't there. It was quick easy and painless

~ EIGHT ~

The night before school prep to have glowing skin. Even though you are 7 and 5.
