Hello Monday 10.5.2026

Hey loves. Happy Monday. How was your weekend? We had a wonderful birthday and homecoming busy weekend and a somewhat day of rest.

I am linking up with Sarah and Holly for Hello Monday.

Friday October 2

Action shot that did not turn out as planned. Happy 15th Birthday Ella. It was a busy morning with the last day of spirit week (theme was grey)

The trees on the way to school, picture taken by Ella. The day before I swear they were all green now they are yellow.

I volunteered for Anna's fun run. The event got moved inside due to rain and slippery asphalt.

After school it was all about the homecoming parade and game. While decorating the truck Anna got her picture taken with the school Mascot a Demon.

Anna and Austin both got to ride in the truck with the Freshman for Student Council. Ella was originally supposed to be in the truck but at the last minute the principle needed her for something else.

After the parade we headed to the football game. Anna found the poster for the other Audriana and had to have a picture with her. We stayed for the first half and then left after the halftime show. The kids were getting cold.

Saturday October 3

After Ella had a late night at the football game she had an early morning in prep for Homecoming. Homecoming is put on by the student council and she had to be to the school at 830 to decorate. I picked her up at 11 then we went straight to picking up her dates boutonniere and home to slowly start getting ready.

Brian and the younger two were hanging out with the neighbors and decorating the front yard for fall. We also had to squeeze in Ella opening her birthday gifts when we were all home.

Then it was time to apply Ella's press on nails (she had a nail injury a few months ago so this was our only option currently). Then it was hair time before she did her make-up and her girlfriends started showing up to get ready.

I drove them all to homecoming then had to pick a few of them up and drive them home. They had a great first dance.

Sunday October 4

I slept in until 730 then got up and got everyone ready for church. It was the first kids Sunday School of the year. Kids go to class as parents socialize.

The rest of the day was spent catching up on all the things around the house from laundry to dishes and I may have even thrown in a quick nap.

We had our immediate families over for dessert to celebrate Ella turning 15. She didn't want cake so we got a cookie cake and brownies.
Then it was showers and bedtime for a short week ahead.
