Hey loves. It's Friday. How was your week? Our started with a sick child and ended with sunshine and warm temps. In the middle was rough with a heavy heart with everything going on in the world. Throw in some user error on my blog (forgetting to press post) and a good workout. I am ready for a nice hopefully relaxing weekend.

Anna had her first soccer game this season on Saturday. It is a complete 180 compared to last year. She is actually playing, running and kicking the ball, and not doing yoga. She also seems to be having fun.
Her best friend isn't on her team but they still got to see each other. Notice Anna's hand looking cute.

We threw my dad a surprise 70th birthday. He kinda knew it was going on but didn't know who all would be there.
Happy Birthday dad cheers to many more.

We need a nickname.... My sister and my two childhood best friends. One I have known since I was 3 and the other since 3rd grade. We talk everyday (usually) but haven't all gotten together in over 3 years. It was nice to hang out and reminisce for my dads birthday.
~ FOUR ~
It was a chilly baseball morning, but Austin has improved so much in these 4 weeks of fall ball. The pressure is different, the team is different, the one coach I am a huge fan of his approach to helping the kids. Austin also doesn't fight to go to the games.

It is hard to see but there is a kids nerf football with the fins stuck in the gutter. Brian accidentally threw it up there (I have no idea how) The dads spent a good half an hour throwing different objects to try and knock it down. It was very entertaining and a good much needed laugh.

Ella called me on her walk home from the bus stop to meet her so she could show me a caterpillar.

Anna had her second gymnastics class at the new place and had a lot of fun.
