Friday Favorites

Hey loves. It's finally Friday. The week started off rough in the motherhood front. When they say motherhood is a rollercoaster they are not lying, especially with an 11 year old and 3 year old. I am so thankful for my village that has helped, even if they are just an ear to listen. I am excited for the weekend. We have some relaxing and a birthday party to go to. Any fun plans for you?

Time for some Friday Favorites with these lovely ladies: Erika, and Andrea.

~ ONE ~

Austin had a mother son dance at school. He is not very outgoing and doesn't want to dance with or without me. I made him dance a few songs with me.

~ TWO ~

My goal this summer is to have a deer eat out of my hand. I have had a few get close but then get scared and run away or get scared off by a little girl.

~ THREE ~

I have been craving ice coffee. I have been buying the concentrate from Trader Joes and adding mocha skinny syrup that I found at TJ Maxx.

~ FOUR ~

I spent a day in the kitchen. Anna and I made bourbon maple granola. It is so good and easy to make.

Air fryer chickpeas with just a little sea salt. Next time I want to do everything but the bagel seasoning.

Ella requested to make overnight oats. Somehow I ended up making them while she played hide and seek.

The girls and I also made sourdough chocolate chip cookies. A new favorite.

  1. I've been debating about trying some overnight oats; I'm not a huge fan of oatmeal but I've seen a few recipes that sound pretty tasty.
