Friday Favorites

Hey loves. Happy Friday. It is the first Friday of the month. How was your week? Our week started off a little rough but thankfully have gotten better. We have a fun weekend planned with time outside, Ella's has a music fundraiser, and Austin has a birthday party to attend. It is going to be a good weekend I am calling it now. Also Happy Cinco de Mayo. Who else is celebrating with some margaritas and tacos?

Time for some Friday Favorites with these lovely ladies: Erika, and Andrea. As I sat down to start writing this my mind went to nothing was good this week. Time to change the narrative and find the good in with the rough times.

~ ONE ~

Anna and I saw a rainbow when we got to the hospital last Sunday. I just knew that everything was going to be ok, someone was watching over us.

~ TWO ~

Anna has been loving puzzles. I brought down a big box of wooden puzzles that she has been spending hours playing with. She even went to my parents house and found a bunch of puzzles there to play with.

~ THREE ~

Ella and Anna sitting at the table chalking, while I was feeding my sourdough starter. Now this may not seem like a big deal, but this was when Anna started walking and moving again. Before this she was just sat on the couch with her legs straight. Here she is sitting on her legs with her knees bent. It is the little changes that I noticed.

~ FOUR ~

This weeks quote in my devotional is one I say all the time. Little changes having a bigger lasting impact then trying to change everything all at once.

~ FIVE ~

After the doctor, which Anna was finally feeling back to normal, we got donuts to waste some time before going back to preschool. Anna missed 2 weeks with everything that was going on.

~ SIX ~

Doesn't she look so precious in my bed, taking over Brian's side as she is sleeping. This was after she said I'm not tired.

~ SEVEN ~

Ella sent me a picture and requested I do her hair before school. i don't know the last time she asked me to do her hair.

~ EIGHT ~

Happy May the Forth Be With You for National Star Wars day. I forgot to go buy waffles so I improvised and made Austin a BB-8 with leftover pancakes. He loved it and that's all the matters.

~ NINE ~

Since Spring Break I haven't walked Ella to the bus spot in the morning. I was sick, then Anna was clingy, Brian wasn't home, etc. Today I surprised her by walking with her. I don't know if she was excited or annoyed. Either way I care.

~ TEN ~
