Friday Favorites- Almost Thanksgiving

Hey friends. We made it to Friday. It has been a much more relaxing week, and this weekend is the calm before the chaos. Next week my kids only have school on Monday (Tuesday is conference day Wednesday is the start of Thanksgiving break). We are hosting this year again, right now our total count is 18 so not to bed.

Time for some Friday Favorites with these lovely ladies: Erika, and Andrea.

~ ONE ~

Ella's play in How to Enchant a Bookshop last weekend.

We surprised her by having Anna dress up as Cinderella too. The costume Anna is wearing was Ella's and has been in the attic.

My parents were also excited to see her play.

Friday and Saturday night they didn't want the cast coming out front in costume. On Sunday the last performance they didn't care.

My little Taylor Swift. Her own personal pillow piano and fan microphone.

~ THREE ~

Austin and Anna helped prep for winter. We had planters and yard decorations that needed put away. They also stocked the wood pile in the garage, and picked twigs for a bucket.

~ FOUR ~

Ella got 3 bouquets of flowers at her performances from family.

~ FIVE ~

It's almost time. Surgery was needed this year for some new wires, they are ready for an exciting year.

~ SIX ~

Anna's class had a campout. The kids had to bring blankets or a sleeping bag. It also turned into pillows, stuffed animals, and flashlights for some. They also went fishing, had smores (which were made in the microwave).

~ SEVEN ~

This is probably be the last year with our turkey. He looks good here, but most of the time he is falling over. I think the Christmas dinosaur across the street is scaring him.

~ EIGHT ~

I get so excited when I built a fire myself. It is the little things. We had wind gusts up to 50 mph and talk of potential power outages so we prepped with a fire just in case. It never got as bad as anticipated.
