Friday Favorites

Hey friends. We made it to Friday. We had a short school week that seemed to last forever. Having off last Friday and Monday, I kept getting lost on what day it was. Throw in daylight savings, and elections it has been an off week. I am ready for a somewhat relaxing weekend.

Time for some Friday Favorites with these lovely ladies: Erika, and Andrea.

~ ONE ~

We may not decorate for Christmas until after Thanksgiving, not by my choice, but I did pull out all my holiday shirts, headbands, and cups.

~ TWO ~

Austin decided last Saturday morning that it was cold enough to have a fire. He went to the garage and got the wood by himself, Brian built the actual fire.

~ THREE ~

I enjoyed a slow morning with hot coffee with peppermint cold foam, and curled up with a book.

~ FOUR ~

I also enjoyed a cool evening outside by the fire reading a book took. Brian is trying to burn all the "bad wood" that we won't burn in the house because of bugs and mold. Most of the evening I was outside by myself also enjoying the quiet time.

~ FIVE ~

I love the talks the three girls have and their bond. Even with the different ages of 5, 4, and 3. I pray they always stay this close. The boys are the same too 9, 7, and 6. We joke that the kids will always be friends because the parents are friends.

~ SIX ~

Anna pulled back out her puzzles from His Kids Company and did the Moses and the Red Sea.

~ SEVEN ~

The deer blend in with the leaves. We have had 4 bucks (2 that have 4 points, 1 with points, and 1 with 8 points) plus a bunch of females. This is the most males we have ever seen.

  1. I am hoping for some cooler nights again next week when I can build a fire. It looks so cozy! Have a good weekend!

  2. Look at those lovely fires! There is nothing quite like sitting near a fire on a cold night (or morning!).
