Hey loves. I am recapping our Disney World vacation that we took the end of July into the beginning of August. We spent a wonderful week down in Orlando, Florida at Disney World. This trip was extra special because it was my 40th birthday trip and we went with another family. Be sure to read Day 1 and Day 2 and Day 3, and Day 4 and Day 5 and Day 6 if you missed it. We are onto day 7, our resort hopping day and more relaxed if you can really say that about a Disney vacation.
Let's start the recap. The plan is to go day by day, but some days maybe broken into two parts depending on how long they are. We had a busy 8 days with 6 days of parks with park hoping, resort hopping, and more.

Slept in a little on the bus by 9am heading to Hollywood Studios. Anna was talking about freckles and didn't believe me that she had freckles all over her nose.
This was our second day at Hollywood Studios so we only had a few things left that we wanted to do. First up was the new Villians show.
I was hesitant that it would be to scary but it was actually fun and cute and the kids loved it.
Last time we were at Disney World when Anna was 3, she had a huge temper tantrum to get her face painted. Getting her face painted again is all that she talked about. We let her get it done. She picked this Frozen ice princess to match her shirt.
After face painting we got iced coffees and donuts, Ella and I rode Tower of Terror, while everyone else rode Star Tours. We ended with some shopping and headed back to our hotel.
Back at the hotel Ella caught a gecko.
We had lunch and finished off food and drinks we had to eat up before check out the next day.
Last park of our trip. Magic Kingdom. It ended up being a wet and stormy evening.
I shared a video on Instagram of the downpouring of rain, standing in Tomorrowland with the water just kept rising. We stood there for a good hour.
When the storms finally passed everyone but the moms rode Tiana's Bayou Adventure again. Then we ended up calling it an early night and headed back to the hotel. A lot of the rides were still not open or had crazy long and talk was the fireworks and parade were getting cancelled or delayed. Not how we wanted to end our last night of vacation but we were also all tired.
Thank you for stopping by!!!!! If you are new here,
Feel free to follow along.
XOXO
Aw, that's too bad about the rain! Sometimes those Florida storms are just crazy though.
