Hey loves. Happy Wednesday. Where has the week gone. It was a crazy busy weekend. From date night to baseball under the links to a fun adventure. Then a busy two days at work throw in sports, rain, sick kids and all the Maycember with all the activities. I have tried sitting down to write this post the last two days and I am finally getting around to finishing it on Wednesday opps.
I am linking up with Sarah and Holly for Hello Monday.
Friday
We finally have a baby deer in the neighborhood. She was so little I think she was born the night before.
World language week for 4th graders. We got to visit Austin's Spanish class. They sang songs and different presentations in Spanish. It was cute, but I don't speak Spanish so I can't tell you what they said or if he was pronouncing it right.
Austin's teacher was sure to get a picture of each student with their visitors.
My parents hung out at my house between appointments and treated me to Olive Garden for lunch. It has been years since I have been to Olive Garden. I just got unlimited soup and salad for lunch. I wasn't impressed.
Frank the squirrel was knocking on the door asking for peanuts.
Anna's softball practice got cancelled because of rain and storms that were rolling in. We had planned pizza for after practice. We got Master's Pizza. I picked their buffalo chicken with ranch drizzle. It is one of my favorites.
Our neighbors came over and the kids played as the dads watched baseball. I enjoyed a quiet evening in my room watching TV and reading.
Saturday
A Saturday with no plans is few and far between. We attempted sleeping in, but the kids didn't get the memo. I spent the day cleaning the house, doing laundry, all the things I normally do on Fridays.
We took a quick trip to Target to get a gift for Brian's god child's first communion
and my kids starting making their birthday lists. (which means I take pictures of all the things they want)
We also went to Tractor Supply to get more deer food.
The rest of the evening was pretty low key. Brian set up our church for an indoor Polka band concert because there was a lot of rain in the forecast. He went to his god daughters first communion. Brian and the kids ended up at the neighbors watching the Cavs game. I had another quiet evening at home.
Side note these Oreos are interesting.
Sunday
A slow start to our Sunday for my kids and I. Brian had to be at church early as he was opening the building and doing the coffee and what not. My kids and I didn't have to be there until 10 for the first outdoor service. It was a little chilly but went by quick.
Brian's mom hosted a Memorial Day cookout. My kids drove their uncles nuts.
We had a fire. My kids and I were home by 730, Brain ended up staying until almost 10.
Monday
We slept in until 8. I closed the blinds and our door. Anna didn't come in until 8 when she was hungry.
Overall we had a low key day. I finished spraying my Disney pots so the paint doesn't smear. Brian put dirt in the pots and started working on the second shed door. Ella had her boyfriend over. They played board games with her siblings.
Brian, Austin and our neighbor and his son went and saw the new Star Wars movie. I had the girls at home for a relaxing evening.
Thank you for stopping by!!!!! If you are new here,
Feel free to follow along.
XOXO
