Hello Monday on a Tuesday 6.2.202

Hey loves. Happy Tuesday and June. Where the heck has the year gone. To say it is flying by is an understatement. We are in our final stretch of school, only 6 more days.

I am linking up with Sarah and Holly for Hello Monday.

Friday

Anna is all ready for her field trip to the zoo. Her class designed their shirts. There is a drawing self portrait of all the kids in her class.

I spent the morning doing all the housework from laundry to dusting, cleaning windows, dishes etc. I treated myself to some Starbucks. This was a butterfly drink I believe it was delicious. After Target I went grocery shopping.

Our neighbor got to go to the zoo as a chaperone. He sent me this picture. I heard from another chaperone that Anna did great until the end when her little legs got tired she couldn't keep up.

Ella got her siblings off the bus while Brian and I brought the camper from my parents house to our house. The plan was to clean and prep it to go camping in a few weeks.

Like mother like daughter. I use to do this when I was her age when we had a motorhome.

Anna had her first softball game.

They don't keep score, everyone gets a turn to bat, it is more about learning the fundamentals. She had a lot of fun though.

After softball we went out to dinner for pizza. Brian got a beer that was under the category "beers you dad would have drank". The little bottle came with the link because there was a riddle under the cap. Can you guess the riddle?

We also took Ella's boyfriend to softball and dinner. They kept switching seats because Anna and Ella were arguing so he sat in the middle then somehow they got all switched around.

Saturday

An early busy Saturday morning. We were out the door by 815. Grabbed bagels at Bruegger's. Brian and Austin headed to baseball warm ups. Ella, Anna and myself went to the farmers market to get coffee and to Trader Joes to grab a few things.

Baseball was cold and windy. When we got home my chair needed rinsed off from all the dust everywhere.

This little rockstar wasn't fazed. She sat in the rocks and played with trucks.

I got to see Austin bat 3 times before we had to leave to go to Ella's eye doctors appointment. She is getting contacts. It was a 5 minute fitting appointment. She will get a new set of trials in 2 weeks then we will order whichever one she likes.

After her appointment Ella and I did some shopping. We hit up Home Goods, TJ Maxx, Five Below, and the Dollar Tree.

I came home and started cleaning the camper, which took a turn for the worst. I ended up on the roof to check for soft wood.

The whole front bed area wood was wet, soft and rotted. We called one local camper place who said they only do repairs in the off season. Brian took it upon himself to start guting it and seeing how bad it really is.

Unfortunately it is worse than we had thought. We found a guy who can come out next week to take a look and see what the actual damage is an what the next steps are. Not how we wanted to start our camping season.

Random I love having flowers in the house and in the bathroom.

Sunday

The kids had a sleepover. Boys were at our house and girls were across the street. They were all up around 6. I got up around 630 and started with a slow morning and a shower to straighten my hair.
We all went to church. Since we weren't going to be working on the camper like originally planned I talked Brian into going to the greenhouse to get flowers for my pots.

I spent the next few hours planting flowers and some seeds for herbs while Brian ended up having real estate appointments.

I forced the kids out of the house and made them start cleaning up their outside toys. They didn't do the best job but it is a start. They got rid of some broken toys and dumped all the buckets that had standing water and oh so many leaves because they didn't put stuff away properly. (and it isn't necessarily them but their friends)

I still need to buy some more herbs but it is a good start. I also got a tomato and pepper plant that has the netting around it because last year the dead ate everything before we got a chance.

The kids begged to play with their friends. We ended up over there for dinner- grilled chicken and shrimp salad.

Our yard to finally starting to look like summer with colors
