Hey loves. I am jumping back in and sharing all about our cruise to the Mexican Rivera we did with Norwegian back in March.

Sunday March 9 Disembarkment Day
I took no photos the morning we were getting off the ship. We had to be out of our room before 9am, and wait to disembark until about 1030 I believe was our time. It was a smooth transfer even with all the waiting. Then grabbed out luggage and waited for an Uber to take us to get our rental car. We got two Ubers between the two families that ended up being a bit hectic. We got ours quicker than our friends and ended up waiting 20 minutes for them to get their Uber and show up at the rental car place. It all worked out. We got a sprinter van to take us all to our next destination.
Knotts Berry Farm
As Gold pass members of Cedar Point at home, we get access to all 34 parks that Six Flags owns. (this changes next year). We decided to stay at the Knotts Berry Farm Hotel then fly home on Monday, instead of Sunday. It was a huge difference in airfare to stay a day longer (close to $1000 per family)
We dropped our luggage at the hotel as our room wasn't ready yet and walked to the amusement park.
Someone was excited for her day ahead.
The kids rode some rides
Knotts Berry has some cute theming and different areas of the park. It ended up being so hot, like temps were 95 in March which is unheard of.
We grabbed some lunch, kids had chicken fingers and fries, parents had these delicious nachos fries we are still talking about I wish I would have taken a picture of. The adults also got drinks. Knotts Berry Farm is known for Boysenberry. I had a delicious Boysenberry margarita.
We did a little shopping on the way back to our room. We got some Boysenberry bbq sauce, chapstick, lotion, and snacks.
Our kids requested to go swimming so we did that for a little bit then rested until we headed to dinner. This is the view from our room, overlooking the park.
For dinner we walked to The Cauldron Bar. It is a very unique theming and fun for the kids. At different times it becomes "haunted" with a shadow of a witch, cat, ghosts, etc. I also have to say that our waitress was amazing with explaining to the kids the "haunted" is friendly ghosts and witches.
One of us got a Wicked Elixirs potion drink. All the ingredients come in different vials. You mix your drink per directions and reading a spell.
After dinner we stopped back at the amusement park for a few hours before they closed.
and had some late night fun. Before we headed back to our room.
Monday March 10- Heading Home
Beautiful sunrise over California. We woke up and packed up to hit the road. We grabbed breakfast from Porto's Bakery. Then we drove to the airport.
LAX is huge. The dads dropped off the mom, kids, and luggage while they found where to return the rental car. That was an adventure of its own and they were technically late getting back to returning it. Then had to find the taxi to get them back to where we were in the airport waiting for them to go through security.
From LAX to Minneapolis we lost a pair of headphones. When we got to Minneapolis they had changed out seats and had Anna (who was 6) sitting in a row with a random adult. We got to the gate and they thankfully were able to change it so Brian had all 3 kids and I was by myself. We landed back in Cleveland after 10am.
We had a great cross country vacation and cruise. The kids did a lot better than we expected with the time zones. I can't wait to plan another trip
