Not Just a Mom- Family Food Traditions

Hey loves. Happy Monday. It is a busy day and a lots of posts. Before this post was Meal Planning Monday Week 100. It's hard to believe I have been shared 100 weekly dinner menus. Today is also Audrianna's 3rd birthday, you can read her birthday post here. And let's not forget this months Not Just A Mom.

Today is another Not Just a Mom Link up. If you are new- every month, the second Monday, I link up with these incredible ladies (DaraJenJoannaLauren, and Sarah )  and we share different aspects of our life. We are more than just moms. We would love if you blog, to link up, and share with us. Each month is a new topics:

In January we shared- Our Favorite Bloggers
In February we shared a Day in the Life
In March we shared Our Reading Habits
In April we shared What's For Lunch
In May we shared our Go To Gift Ideas
In June we shared our Dream Vacation Locations.

This month we are sharing Family Food Traditions

Our family has food traditions that go along with different holidays. I am going to try and remember as much as I can quickly. (I am writing this before I put Anna to bed)

January- New Years Day we do some sort of pork. This past year was the first time I ever did pork and saukraut. I was not a fan.

February- Valentine's Day I like to find the fun shaped pasta for the kids.

March- St Patty Day-

April- Easter we do a ham usually

May- Memorial Day cookout with ribs

July- 4th of July cookout with burgers

September- Labor day cookout with chicken

October- Halloween fun themed dinner of either mummy dogs or jackolatern quesadilla's.

November- Thanksgiving turkey with all the fixing

December- Christmas eve Lasgana
Christmas we switch it up.

Birthday I am starting to let my kids pick what they want for each meal. Anna wanted donuts, fries, and mac and cheese. Austin wants French Toast, nutella sandwich and pizza. Those two are simple. Ella I know will pick crab legs.

Random- we eat out usually on Fridays. Sunday is a family hearty heal. Tuesdays are 99% of the time some sort of taco. Sunday breakfast is pancakes or waffles.

I am sure there are other family food traditions. I will probably come back and edit when I think of it.

What are your family food traditions.

Thank you for stopping y!!!!! If you are new here,

  3. We used to make an Italian pasta dinner for Christmas Eve! But in recent years we switched to pizza; when my mom took over hosting in her new house they didn't have a kitchen for a few years and so pizza became our new tradition.

  5. I started doing mummy dogs for the kids on Halloween a few years ago. I'm not sure why I didn't think to start doing that sooner!
