Hey friends. Happy Friday. This is our last Friday before my kids go back to school. What is the weather like in your neck of the woods? It has felt like fall all went with temps in the 50s and 60s. Yesterday morning when I woke up it was 48, what they heck mother nature is confused and things it is officially fall. Next week we are back to upper 80s, thankfully my kids schools have air conditioning.
I have to start by saying I sucked at taking many pictures at all this week. We hung out with friends, played at home, and did other things but I didn't grab my phone very often.
~ ONE ~
I made sourdough strawberry sour cream donuts with a strawberry lemon glaze. OMG they were so good. Austin had one every morning until they were gone. I got the recipe from Acts of Sourdough Courtney is my go to for all things simple less scary sourdough.
~ TWO ~
We went to Trader Joes as a family and Ella snuck a dragon fruit in the cart. She loves trying new fruit. She has had dragon fruit before. It is an acquired taste. We ended up blending it with some lemonade and making our own version of a Starbucks Refresher.
~ THREE ~
When last years school year ended Austin was still restricted using his right arm after breaking his arm and getting never damage in April. We have been working on getting him to use, eat with, and write with his right arm again. He still doesn't have complete feeling back back has movement.
~ FOUR ~
Audrianna is just a little extra. Crown, sunglasses, earrings and nail polish.
~ FIVE ~
I got an advanced read copy of Broken Pact by Penelope Black. I am loving it so far. It got released yesterday for purchase.

We have had Autumn like weather here too, not quite as cold as you but it's not the weather we expect for this time of year.

DeleteI have a granddaughter who is 'extra'. She's not quite two but always has a 'purse' of some kind, her sunnies, and a hat if there's one nearby. The donuts look and sound so good!
