Hey loves. I am recapping our Disney World vacation that we took the end of July into the beginning of August. We spent a wonderful week down in Orlando, Florida at Disney World. This trip was extra special because it was my 40th birthday trip and we went with another family. Be sure to read Day 1 and Day 2 and Day 3, and Day 4 and Day 5 if you missed it. We are onto day 5, our resort hopping day and more relaxed if you can really say that about a Disney vacation.
Let's start the recap. The plan is to go day by day, but some days maybe broken into two parts depending on how long they are. We had a busy 8 days with 6 days of parks with park hoping, resort hopping, and more.

Up early to and at the bus stop by 815am. Austin saw his favorite bus around Disney World with the Star Wars wrap. It happened to be the bus we were riding that morning.
First park of the day- Animal Kingdom. We were on the bus, through security, waited in line for a good 20 minutes and on the Safari.
*** I personally feel like even with all the shade of Animal Kingdom it is always the hottest park. We were keeping cool with our frogg togg towels.
This was the most active we have ever seen the animals.
Did you know there is air conditioning on top of the rocks in Animal Kingdom in the lion exhibit? This is how they get the lions to lay on top the rocks.
When we got off the Safari it was time for bathroom breaks, iced coffee, and ice cream for breakfast. Animal Kingdom doesn't have the best options for breakfast options.
My favorite show at Disney is the Lion King show.
We walked to the other side of the park to finish what we weren't able to get done our first night. Ella and I also ran around getting our Disney Magic band statue game.
The boys, Ella and myself went to ride Expedition Everest while the girls and the other mom went wondering around as the girls were not tall enough. She also treated the girls to huge lollipops.
We did everything we wanted to do at Animal Kingdom then headed back to the hotel.
This was the first time Mousekeeping set up our room with a bow out of a towel
At the hotel the kids had chicken nuggets and friends, while the adult grabbed a quick service sandwich. We had a quick rest/nap then headed to another park.
Another evening at Epcot. First up was spaceship earth.
Then explored the new Moana area. My kids loved playing in the water that makes sounds.
It started to rain so we headed into the aquarium again and to check out Turtle Talk with Crush.
We had the best of luck when it rained that we saw rainbows.
Ella acting like she was really in Paris. She had a baguette and croissant for dinner.
The rest of the evening ended up being a rainy wash out. We just walked around the countries and did some shopping before heading back to the hotel.
Thank you for stopping by!!!!! If you are new here,
Feel free to follow along.
XOXO

That sounds like another wonderful Disney day. I had no idea they had air conditioning on the top of the rocks for the lion exhibit.
