Hey loves. Happy Monday. How was your weekend? We spent the weekend celebrating Brian's birthday. Friday night him and I went out to dinner and the kids has a sleepover at my parents. Saturday I surprised them and took them out for ice cream at our favorite local place, Mitchells, that has the best vegan ice cream. Sunday we celebrated with his family. Throw in some Christmas shopping, Austin having an eye doctors appoint, church, plus more to the mix. It was a great weekend.

Gosh this is a hard one. I love to read and to listen to audiobooks. This year alone I have read over 100 books. I enjoy a wide rang from a good thriller to small town romance, to smut, to biographies, and personal development. Picking out a favorite is a lot harder than I expected. So in true Adrienne fashion I picked more than one and I could have picked a lot more.
Favorites:
Devotional
Grace Looks Amazing on You Amy Seiffert
I love Amy's personal stories she shares that connect with different stages of motherhood and are so relatable. Some days she dives a little deeper into a verse to really make you understand it more.
Series
This was my first read into mafia romance and got me hooked.
Stand Alone (recent read)
The Honeymoon Cottage Lori Foster
Who names a town Cemetery then have a wedding business named after the town? A story of love, friendship, real life not so perfect families, and dreams. Likeable, relatable characters that you want to be friends with.
Thriller
Just The Nicest Couple Mary Kubica
The who done it, twists and turns just keeps you hooked. What would you do if your husband would have gone missing? I feel like I would have done more that my only negative. I never guessed who the killer was.
Autobiography
What if Love is the Point? Carlos PenaVega and Alexa PenaVega
Loved learning about Alexa and Carlos, how they met, their backgrounds in the spotlight and more. They share their journeys in their faith without being pushy with it.
Cook Book
Author
I have two favorite authors currently. Lauren Blakely and Penelope Black both of which are romance writers.
2024 Link Up
We are rebranding the Not Just a Mom Linkup. New name, new topics, same day.

I found this such a hard post to write too; I have so many favorite books and tend to read a wide variety of genres too. I love seeing how each person tackled their list and narrowed it down though!
